- Educated at Montsaye School, Rothwell, Northamptonshire, and Oxford University
- Called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1994
- Practised as a barrister in London chambers before moving to Jersey in 2004
- Qualified as a Jersey Advocate in 2006
- Appointed a Crown Advocate in 2006
- Sworn in as Her Majesty's Solicitor General for the Island of Jersey on 1 May 2020
- Sworn in as His Majesty’s Attorney General for the Island of Jersey on 2 March 2026
